I curated engaging content for the @Potsdambears Instagram page, helping increase attendance of home games and traffic to the potsdambears.com website. This experience provided me with firsthand knowledge of managing social media channels for a college athletics department, demonstrating my ability to handle fast-paced work and write compelling headlines and social media posts.

On this page I highlight some of my favorites.

The fifth most shared post on the account is photos I took during the fall teams’ preseason. Reaching over 2,000 accounts it was liked more than 300 times and shared more than 60.

A promo video for Potsdam’s annual bear Pride Night using a compilation of videos I took at games an intern took at practices led to a record turnout for our men’s hockey games. The post garnered over 3,000 plays and over

This post was designed for our national championship winning coach Jerry Welsh being nominated for the Basketball Hall of Fame.

I aimed to make the @PotsdamBears Instagram have a comparable presence to other small NCAA Division III schools and made a series of gameday and schedule posts for the departments 18 varsity teams. I helped increase the coverage of our athletes and our standing as an atheltic department to our peers by doing this. I also made all the projects as “templates” so frequent posting can continue after my tenure with little workload put onto the department.
